Old Business:
New Business - Voting Items: Bylaws change was proposed by Kurt in an email regarding junior membership guidelines. Pertaining to those still in school and cannot regularly attend the meetings. There is also an email to the members regarding a parent responsibility form that parents of junior members would be required to sign. We need to vote on these soon (30 days after the initial email proposal from Kurt is approaching soon). Kurt will bring hard copies of both the bylaw changes and the parent responsibility form, to an upcoming meeting for further discussion and a vote.
George would like to purchase steel wheel sets for rolling stock that currently has plastic wheels. George has been assembling rolling stock kits as well that will need steel wheels. Approximate cost is under $100.00. Motion made by Kurt and 2nd by Dave to allow George to purchase wheel sets for under $100. Unanimously accepted. George will find out if he can prepay and avoid taxes or if he needs to use the club card to avoid taxes. Kurt has about a dozen couplers from consignment items that the club can purchase at a discounted price because they cannot really be sold at the table. If additional couplers are required, George will work with Kevin because he can approve an additional $75.00.
New Business – Non Voting Items:
Adjourned: Kevin motioned to adjourn the meeting. Unanimously approved.
