—- The Cincinnati Northern Railroad Club Quarterly Meeting January 3 2023 ====

The first meeting of calendar 2023 was held at Rick's Tavern in Fairfield, Ohio. There were ten Regular Active Members present.

The meeting was convened at 7:15 PM by the President, Kurt Albrecht.. Present at this meeting were; Joe Suttman, Greg Klinker, Monty Stein, Dan Webb, Kurt Albrecht John Pasqualetti, Jeremy Scarth, George Roos, Kevin Geiger, Mark Mannypenny

The Secretary, Greg Klinker read the minutes of the meeting of 4 October. A motion to accept as read was made by John Pasqualetti and seconded by Kevin Geiger.

The Treasurer, Dan Webb reported on our financial status. As of 3 January 2023 we have $12,456.17 in the bank. Dues in the amount of $720.00 were collected before the meeting and are included in this total. Also included are the proceeds of our sales table for the quarter. At the Fall Division 7 show the club sold $1,035 in merchandise. Motion to accept the Treasurers Report was made by Kevin Geiger and seconded by John Pasqualetti.

PRESIDENTS REPORT; Kurt Albrecht spoke about new cub shirts. Monty Stein suggested using our old shirts and put a cloth patch on it instead of new shirts. There was no report from the Vice President.

OLD BUSINESS; None

NEW BUSINESS; Monty Stein said we need new electrical connections between the modules on the show layout. The present ones are beginning to show a lot of wear. He suggested using aircraft °cannon plugs“ since they are screwed together, not a push/pull arrangement used presently.

We will have a sales table at the Division 7 Flea Market March 11.

A motion was made by Kevin Geiger to continue both Joe Suttman and Kurt Albrecht as the only members who can negotiate for new club facilities. Monty Stein seconded the motion with unanimous approval.

Mark Mannypenny has been authorized to buy track in bulk for a new layout. He will be ordering two boxes.

Both Joe Suttman and Kurt Albrecht are looking into a $500.00 grant.

Elections for calendar 2023 were conducted. There were no nominations from the floor and the present slate was reelected. President Kurt Albrecht Vice President Joe Suttman Treasurer Dan Webb Secretary Greg Klinker Member-at-Large Monty Stein
